In the context of the The Hague NATO Summit later this year, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in cooperation with the Institute for Security and Global Affairs at Leiden University, invited some of Europe’s pre-eminent thinkers on Nuclear Deterrence to discuss the future of nuclear deterrence in Europe. In the context of a rapidly changing nuclear world order, the goal of the event is to hear insights from experts from different European countries and to stimulate thinking on how to navigate the nuclear deterrence dialogue.
