3 Years of War in Ukraine – Symposium
On the 24th of February, we mark three years since Russia’s renewed invasion of Ukraine. Over the past three years, the war has seen significant technological and strategic developments, as well as increasing involvement from other nations. Most notably, in the past year, Iran and North Korea have begun interfering in the conflict, raising concerns about the potential consequences for the war’s trajectory and its wider geopolitical implications.
To reflect on these developments, the KVBK, Leiden University, the Clingendael Institute, and the Faculty of Military Sciences of the Netherlands Defence Academy are organizing the symposium ‘3 Years of War in Ukraine’ on the 24th of February in The Hague. This event will bring together experts and policymakers to discuss the key military, political, and strategic aspects of the war.
